Chandel, December 18 2012: With an objective to provide free and fair Justice to the rural masses, the court building of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Chandel was inaugurated by Justice R.M Lodha, Judge Supreme Court of India today.

Speaking at the inaugural function organised under the aegis of Law and Legislative Affairs Dept.

Governtment of Manipur at the premises of CJM Chandel Complex, Chandel, Justice R.M Lodha said that that if democracy is to strive and rule of law is to survive, we have to make an institution particularly Judicial System very strong.

He further said that wherever injustice happens, people look upon the judiciary to bring the culprits to justice.

The inaugural function was also attended by Justice A K Goel, Chief Justice of Gauhati High court, Justice T.Nandakumar and Justice N.Koteswar singh, both judges of Gauhati High Court; Th Ibohal Singh, Advocate General, Manipur, MLA of 41-Chandel A/C ST.

Nunghlung Victor MLA; Th.Chitaranjan (IAS), DC Chandel , and other civil and police officers.
