Thoubal, October 18 2021: BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi has stated that the party has been opening offices with the aim of delivering the various welfare schemes of the government to the people, with the mindset that "bonding with the lotus will help bring one closer to the abode of the gods".

On Monday, the BJP president inaugurated an office of 31-Thoubal BJP Mandal in a function organised by the Mandal at Thoubal Achouba Bazar Makha Leitanthem Leirak.

Speaking on the occasion, A Sharda informed that after BJP national president JP Nadda inaugurated the "Thambal Shanglen" of state BJP, he also virtually inaugurated similar structures in two other districts.

As part of the activities being taken up to open similar structures at all wards right from the booth level, the office of 31-Thoubal BJP Mandal was inaugurated on Monday.

She then said that the offices were opened as part of BJP's commitment and philosophy to deliver the various welfare schemes and activities taken up the government to the people.

As per the old saying that "one will move closer to the abode of the gods by bonding with the lotus", the new BJP offices will work in the interest of the people, she added.

The function was also attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretaries L Deven and P Premananda Meitei; State Minority Morcha president MK Aatif Asker Ali; BJP Thoubal District president Yumnam Kumarjit, intending BJP candidate from Lilong AC Md Anwar Hussain, intending BJP candidate from Thoubal AC Leitanthem Basanta (Bhim), BJP Thoubal Mandal president, district and Mandal workers, Mahila Morcha members and supporters of L Basanta.
