Imphal, October 18 2019: Chak-Hao Goola also known Black Rice Gulab Jamun, a product of Taret Foods Pvt Ltd was launched today at Manipur Press Club.

The launching programme was attended by K Devdutta Sharma, CEO, Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA); Rishikumar Sougaijam, president All Manipur Enterpreneurs Association; Hanjabam Shubra Devi, proprietor Meira Foods and Roshnikumar Yambem, managing director, Golbizs Web Solution Pvt Ltd as dais members.

On the occasion, founder of Taret Foods Pvt Ltd, Birbal Chingangbam said that the product is designed with special focus to promote black rice.

The company had earlier launched "Chahao Bhujia", he said adding that the new product aims at giving the customer a new exotic and delicious food product, apart from increasing the income of hundreds of farmers of Manipur.

The price of the new product which will come in high quality can weighing 500 gm is Rs 115, he added.

He continued that the company is also considering to introduce a breakfast cereal "Black Rice Flakes" which have high nutritional value by next year.
