Imphal, January 18 2018: An awareness programme was organised by Indo-Myanmar Worker Forum Moreh at its office near Indo-Myanmar friendship gate, today.

DSP, CDO Moreh, Th Krishnatombi Singh, CDO OC, P Tarunkumar Singh, Moreh police 2nd OC, Akber Hussain, Indo-Myanmar Worker Forum Moreh president, MCM president, M Thoiba attended the programme as dignitaries among others.

Seeking maximum public support, Th Krishnatombi assured to continue the forum's service in providing security and protection to the people of the district.

Womenfolk and locals who attended the meeting expressed the desire to open the Indo-Myanmar friendship gate number 2 from 7 am till 4 pm.

They urged the authority concerned to shift the Indian flag post erected in the middle of the road, near India Gate, as it has caused inconvenience to the passersby who goes in and out of the Namphalong Bazar.
