Churachandpur, October 16 2018: The Subsidiary Training Centre BSF in collaboration with district police Churachandpur organised a mini-marathon on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day 2018.More than 500 boys and girls of Churachandpur, apart from BSF and District Police personnel participated in the mini marathon which was flagged off from Khuga dam and concluded at the STC BSF campus, Mualkoi.

The event was jointly flagged off by the chief guest of the event Shyamlal Poonia, DC Churachandpur and Rajesh Kumar Mishra, Commandant, Officiating IG, STC BSF CCpur.

First three winners of boys and girls were given cash awards of Rs 4,000, Rs 3,000 & Rs 2,000 each.

Additionally they were also awarded trophies, medals and certificates.

The top 25 winners from both categories were also given consolation prizes.

Later in the day, quiz and essay writing competitions were also conducted for the students of various schools in Churachandpur as part of the commemoration.

Various prizes were distributed to all the winners as well as to all the participants who took a tour of BSF campus.

They witnessed various types of BSF weaponry on display.
