Foundation day celebrated

Imphal, November 15 2019: Brahmapur Social Club (BSC), Brahmapur Lalji Lakpa Leikai has observed its 54th foundation day, yesterday.

At the event, Lok Sabha MP, Dr RK Ranjan Singh asserted that he will raise the many issues besieging the State today in the upcoming Parliament session.

Though the people of Manipur fully support the step taken up by the Government of India and Naga negotiators (NSCN-IM and NNPGs) to find a solution to the Naga peace process, it should not compromise with the integrity and interest of Manipur in any manner, the MP said.

Stating that he could not take part in protest demonstrations as an MP, Dr Ranjan contended that he will exercise his power for the welfare of the people in the floor of Parliament.

He also urged all CSOs, clubs in the State to help guide the youth in the right direction for a better Manipur in the coming days.

During the event, a new office building of BSC was also inaugurated.

The event was also attended by Haobijam Okendro Singh, founder chairman, Building Construction Committee; social worker and managing director, HVS Construction Material Private Limited, H Vikramjit Singh and BSC's president RK Darendrajit.
