After reports of the test reached them, a meeting was held between the doctor and his team.
When the family members asked them what was going on, the doctor told the family members that both kidneys of the patient have failed.
There, a heated argument between the doctor and family members cropped up.
The family members were claiming that the patient was admitted to the hospital for delivery after thorough medical examination was done by the doctor.
As the health condition of the patient deteriorated, she was shifted to Shija Hospital.
After treating there for some days, Eliza died on the midnight of July 15 .
Meanwhile, taking strong exception to the alleged negligence of the doctor, a public meeting was convened at Langol Ningthou Leikai today and formed a JAC in connection with the case.
The JAC and family members demanded refund of medical expenses incurred on the treatment totaling Rs 11.50 lakhs including Rs 10 lakhs spent in Shija Hospital and Rs 1.50 lakhs in RIMS Hospital and service termination of Dr Nabakishore.
