BJP state chief Sharda meets national leaders

In her first visit to the national capital after being appointed as BJP Manipur Pradesh president, A Sharda Devi met several national leaders including Union ministers and BJP president JP Nadda.
Sharda called on Union textiles minister of state D Bikram Jardos early Tuesday morning and discussed establishment of a mega textile park in Manipur.
She also urged the union minister to extend support to women entrepreneurs and workers at his level best.
The union minister reportedly paid patient hearing to the points raised by Sharda and assured of extending maximum support to women entrepreneurs and workers of the state apart from bringing development.
The BJP state chief later met Union minister of state for Jalshakti and food processing Prahlad Patel and had a lengthy discussion on issues concerning Manipur as Patel had been in-charge of the state for a long time earlier.
Apart from urging the minister to improve Jalshakti and food processing sector in the state, they also discussed about the activities of the party.
A Sharda also met railway, coal and mine minister of state Danwe Rosaheb and discussed about railway.
Later in the afternoon, she met BJP national president JP Nadda and spokesperson Sambit Patra and thanked both the national leaders for the induction of MP Dr RK Ranjan into the Union cabinet.
She also informed the BJP national president about preparation being made for the 2022 assembly election and strategy of the party to get 40-plus seats in the upcoming election.
Sharda also called on BJP leaders including Sunil Deodhar, V Satish, Gulshan Kumar Gautam and Mahila Morcha president Pooja Devi and discussed about women empowerment.
