State Level Kala Utsav concludes

Imphal, November 12 2024: The State Level Kala Utsav, organised by the Samagra Shiksha Manipur at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal West concluded today.

Director of Education (S) and State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, Manipur, L Nandakumar Singh attended the event as the chief guest.

During his address, L Nandakumar highlighted that the Kala Utsav, an initiative launched by the Ministry of Education in 2015, is celebrating its 10th edition this year.

He shared that the National Level Kala Utsav will take place in January 2025 in Bhopal.

L Nandakumar emphasised on Manipur's rich heritage in both art and sports, and expressed pride in the State's continued participation at the National Level Kala Utsav since 2020.He encouraged this year's winners to represent Manipur at the upcoming National competition.

The event saw distribution of prizes to the winners of the competition.

Samagra Shiksha (Elementary); Bisheshwar Khumukcham, Additional Director, Education (S)/Valley; Dangmei Manglem, Additional Director, Education (S)/Hills; Bobby Moirangthem, Finance Controller, Samagra Shiksha; and Sanatombi Bachaspatimayum, Chief Finance Officer, Directorate of Education (S) Government of Manipur attended the event.

The State Level Kala Utsav serves as a platform to celebrate and nurture artistic talent across Manipur, reinforcing the State's commitment to cultural and artistic excellence.
