Lilong Haoreibi College Students Union members meet Chief Minister

Imphal, October 12 2020: A five member team representing Lilong Haoreibi College Students Union today met Chief Minister N Biren Singh regarding their college issue.

Lilong Haoreibi College Students Union, in a release said the Chief Minister assured them they he will punish the guilty.

"The CM has assured to recover the amount collected from the students by 'corrupted' former principal Dr A Surenjit Singh," the release said.

The student union also submitted a memorandum to the CM demanding upgradation and development of the college.

On which the CM assured to fulfill their demands at the earliest, the release further said.

Lilong Haoreibi College Students Union has also thanked former Minister Abdul Nasir for the help he had extended in resolving the issue.

The union also thanked AMMSO, CSOs, clubs, Meira Paibi and media for the help they have extended in resolving the issue.
