Outreach health cum NCD training camp held

Senapati, September 11 2019: A one day outreach health cum NCD training camp was conducted today at PHC, Makhan in Senapati District.

The health camp was successfully organised by District Health Society, Senapati during which more than 230 patients from sorrounding villages under PHC, Makhan were treated and tested.

The camp was attended by 8 doctors and 12 supporting staffs.

During the camp, medical tests such as Ultrasound, X-ray and blood test were done.

It may be mentioned that the PHC, Makhan was recently inaugurated on August 24, 2019 by Jayanta Kumar Singh, Minister of Health & Family Welfare in the presence of N Kayisii, Minister, Tribal Affairs & Hills and Fisheries.

Though the PHC has started functioning some weeks ago, this outreach health cum NCD training camp is the first of its kind.

For time being, the PHC, Makhan is reportedly opened for treatment of patients on Monday, Wednesday & Friday in a week.
