BJP to launch Vishesh Sampraday Abhiyaan today

Imphal, December 10 2021: BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda has announced that the Vishesh Sampraday Abhiyaan will be launched in the state from Saturday onwards.

She further informed that suggestions will be collected from experts and eminent personalities as part of the programme.

Speaking to newspersons at the party's office here on Friday after returning from New Delhi, Sharda explained the core idea of the Abhi-yaan, and said that the party has carried out numerous works based on its ideology and principles after coming to power 5 years ago.

The main focus is to ensure BJP's mindset in aligned with that of the people.

She then informed that suggestions will be gathered from experts and eminent personalities as part of the programme.

The CM along with his ministers, MLAs and BJP workers will be organising the programme at district level and efforts are being made to ensure the success of the programme at all levels.

Meanwhile, in connection with the upcoming Nupi Lal observance, a meet and greet with the mothers of Khwairamband market will be organised, she added.

Stating that PM Modi has been working to empower the women in the country, Sharda, however, expressed concern over low participation rate of Manipuri women in politics.

Nonetheless, the women now have presence in the political platforms of the state, she said, while seeking blessings from the mothers on the day of Nupi Lal observance.

The press briefing was also attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretaries P Premananda Meitei and Deven.
