Tengnoupal, October 10 2019: A one-day training cum interaction programme on "Importance of quality seed production and popularisation propagation of litchi farming" was held at Kwatha village, Tengnoupal district today.

The programme was organised by Directorate of Research Central Agricultural University Imphal and All Manipur Progressive Farmers Association (AMPFA).

Dr M Premjit Singh, Vice Chancellor CAU Imphal, Dr S Basanta Singh, Director of Instruction CAU Imphal, S Ratankumar, president AMPFA and N Kamal Singh, Khullakpa Kwatha village attended the event as presidium members.

Professor Dr RK Dilip (Department of Horticulture College of Agriculture, CAU Imphal) and Asst Professor Ng Joykumar Singh (COA, CAU Imphal) attended the event as resource persons.

Around 400 litchi saplings, other seeds and water pumps were distributed to villagers.
