Survey team inspects Noney for Swachhata award

Noney, August 09 2018: A survey team reached Noney District HQs today to inspect the rate of cleanliness at different areas of the district for the "2nd State Level Swachhata Award 2018".The survey team was led by H Pradeep Kumar Singh, Executive Officer, Thoubal Municipal Council and Suranjoy Laishram, Executive Officer Kakching Municipal Council, reports our correspondent.

The team conducted a thorough survey at prominent areas of the district including the office campus of DHQs, schools, colleges, hospital, Church, market complex, garbage dumping site among others.

They also checked if the people as well as the authorities are maintaining the garbage, dustbins or whether there are separate and clean toilets for ladies and gents apart from visiting houses to check garbage maintenance.

Bytes were taken from the villagers as well.

Noney and Haochong SDO, Md Asghar Arzad, AE, PHED Noney Division Daiso Kamei, Longmai village leaders and Noney Legal Clinic PLV, members accompanied the officials in the inspection drive.
