MACS's Ist Youth Extravaganza, 2012

Imphal, April 09 2012: As part of its Multi-Media campaign to reach out to the people to disseminate information about HIV/AIDS, Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) would be organizing Ist Youth Extravaganza, 2012, a competition programme only for members of Red Ribbon Clubs in colleges and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathans from April 10 and 12 at Maharaja Bodhachandra College, Imphal.

According to a statement issued by Project Director of MACS Dr SK Chourasia, during the three-day long event, competitions in short drama, recitation and slogan shouting would be held.

The main objective of organizing the event is to assess the knowledge level of youths about drugs, unsafe sex and HIV/AIDS and also to spread the knowledge regarding these issues by engaging the participants in the form of competitions, Dr Chourasia said.
