'Regularize remaining staff of NHM' says AMNEWA

Imphal, February 08 2021: All Manipur National Health Mission Employees Welfare Association (AMNEWA) has urged the State Government to regularize all the other remaining contract staff of National Health Mission (NHM) since 36 staff of Integrated Diseases Surveillance Programme (IDSP) were regularized recently who are under NHM.

Speaking to media persons at a press meet held at RIMS road today, Kh Jodha general secretary of AMNEWA lauded the Cabinet's decision of approving the regularization of 36 staff of IDSP which is under NHM.

However such a step has caused discontentment among various staff of NHM who are still engaged on contractual basis since the Government has approved the regularisation of only a few staff which is under the same mission, he added.
