Thoubal, January 08 2018: Hangamthabi Youth Club (HYC) and Lilong Haoreibi College Student Union, organised a meeting at Lilong Haoreibi College community hall to discuss the developing issue between the associations and the Principal of Lilong Haoreibi College.

Pangal Students' Association (PSO) president Md Ajijur Rahaman, MSUM president Md Iqbal Hussian, AMMSO working president Md Shah Nawaz, DESAM Thoubal district president Rabichandra, LSA treasury Alhaj Mohammed Hussan, AMMDC president Md Sayeed Ahamed, ASPO president Ahamadi, MSF vice president Lucky Konsam and HYC president Md Abdul Matlib attended the meeting as the presidium members.

Various resolutions were taken at the meeting.

The meeting agreed that the Principal in charge Md Sahidur misused huge amounts of funds meant for the development of the college.

The meting also resolved to constitute a fact finding committee with ASPO advisor Md Sher Khan and HYC general secretary Md Zabed Ahmed as the chairman and convenor respectively.

The committee will also include PSO advisor Md Ajijur Rahaman, MSUM president Md Iqbal Hussian, ASPO president Ahamadi and AMMDC president Md Sayeed Ahamed as committee members.

The meeting further resolved to call of the bandh which was scheduled tomorrow, taking into account the swiftly approaching examination of the students as well as some process of UPF.

The students union also urged the authority concerned to produce the enquiry report regarding the situation by January 13 and to take up necessary actions against the involved individual.

The meeting further condemned the expulsion of five college students and also agreed to organise another meting on January 12 .
