CCpur, September 07 2019: All Manipur Border Area Development Association (AMBADA) appreciated the wise decision of Manipur State Cabinet on Aug 21 to restore the earlier norm regarding implementation of BADP works i.e schemes costing upto Rs 20 lakh to be implemented by the Village Authorities which will help in gaining mutual trust and confidence between the Govt and local populace of the border areas.

But a Govt order corroborating decision of the cabinet meeting is required to enable continuation of development works under BADP that has been pending since financial year 2017-18, said a press release issued by Secy, Info & Pub, AMBADA.

It further said that AMBADA has been waiting for the Govt order since the past year and their patience is running thin now while adding that if such an order is not issued by Sep 15 then AMBADA will be constrained to protest in a befitting manner.
