IPSA holds cultural exchange programme at Tripura

Imphal, April 07 2019: International Peace And Social Advancement (IPSA) is organising North-East handloom exhibition cum cultural exchange programme from April 5 to 8 at Tripura's Abhoynagar in West Agartala.

Himalaya Cultural Research Centre chairman Dr L Suresh, IPSA president T Joychandra Konthoujam, Puthiba Welfare and Cultural Society, Abhoynagar president M Indramani attended the inaugural day as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, IPSA president Joychandra said that the cultural exchange programme was being organised to strengthen the bond between the Meities/Meeteis of Tripura and Manipur.

The programme aims at promoting the aged traditional culture of Manipuris, he said.

He also assured all possible helps of IPSA to the locals who have interest in learning weaving.

Cultural events are being organised at the event.
