CPI condoles

Communist Party of India, Kakching Local Council has consoled the demise of its veteran party leader Kshetri Giridhari.
He died on January 4 due to an illness at his residence at Kakching Makha Leikai.
He was 86.He joined the party in 1974 and had served as secretary of the CPI Kakching Local Council, said a statement of the council issued by its secretary L Kshetra Singh yesterday.
His demise has left a void in the party that can never be filled.
He was a dedicated member of the party who had served his best for the people of Kakching and Manipur at large, said the CPI kakching Local Council.
The party members hold one minute silence for the departed soul to rest in peace during a condolence meeting at the party's office, said the statement and shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family members.
