Imphal, June 06 2020: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Kangpokpi branch has distributed face masks to inmates in the COVID-19 quarantine centre set up at Govt Hindi Secondary School, Kanglatongbi today.

The masks were locally made by Charei Fijol, Chingmeirong and it was also distributed to needy villagers at Kalapahar Gorkha and Gopibung Nepali villages of Kangpokpi district.

BVP will continue distributing face masks and hand sanitizers in the district as a voluntary work in combating COVID-19 pandemic, it said in a statement.
