Imphal, June 06 2011: Bridge of Hope (BOH) students and staff observed World Environment Day (WED) under the themes "Forests-Nature at Your Service"in collaboration with different local organizations, clubs and institutions, according to Kaigul Sithlou who is the programme co-ordinator of BOH.

The programme was held at Singda which was organized in collaboration with Environment & Human Development,Manipur (EHUD).

According to Kaigul Sitlhou, Dr.RK Ranjan Singh, Director,College Development Council, Manipur University & Chairman, Environment and Human Development, Manipur attended the programme as chief guest.

Other resource persons were Wahengbam Rajesh Singh, Yumnam Jiten Singh and O.Vikramjit Singh.

Dr RK Ranjan dwelt on the hazards of environment degradation.

The chief guest also harped on the need to focus on collective approach in protecting the environment.
