KIMACS organises awareness programme

Imphal, September 04 2024: As part of its ongoing campaign on "Role of Manipur Dance in our Society", Kanglei Indigenous Martial Arts and Cultural Society (KIMACS) organised an awareness programme at Heirok Higher Secondary School, Heirok yesterday.

The awareness campaign is being organised by KIMACS in collaboration with the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Manipur; Manipur University of Culture; Government Dance College and JN Manipur Dance Academy from August 19 to October 19, 2024, said a release issued by KIMACS.

Heirok Higher Secondary School, Principal, Th Nimai Singh; CHACOI Rosemary Tribal Foundation, Director, Kangabam Vimaljit and YK College, Guest Faculty, Dr Kolendrajit attended the programme as dignitaries.

At the event, the dignitaries stressed on the need for collective effort to promote & preserve the culture and traditional arts forms of Manipur.
