Imphal, June 03 2019: CAF & PD Minister, Karam Shyam has extended his warm greetings to the people of Manipur, especially the Muslim community, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

May this auspicious day deepen the spirit of compassion and brotherhood in society, said a message of the Minister.

Stating that the divine theme of this festival is to uphold humanitarianism and harmony in its true sense, K Shyam prayed for mutual goodwill and strong bond of unity among the people of Manipur.

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, president, Gaikhangam also conveyed his heartiest greetings to the Muslim brethren on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Maintaining that the festival follows the month long fasting period of Ramadan and is celebrated in a spirit of universal brotherhood, former Deputy CM prayed for the festival to bring peace, joy and happiness to the State.

Manipur National Democratic Front (MNDF), Communist Party of India, (CPI), Manipur State Council and North East India Development Party (NEIDP) also greeted the people of Manipur; particularly Muslim community on the occasion.
