PPCM elects new executives

Imphal, January 03 2014 : With completion of 2 years of its existence, the new executive members of Protection and Preservation Committee, Manipur (PPCM) for 2014-15 were elected today.

PPCM was formed on October 20, 2011 as a common platform by 36 different organizations of the State with the stated objective of dealing with major issues of the State together The elected executive members included President of AMUCO Dr Y Mani Khuman, President of HERICOUN M Churamani, President of IPSA Johnson Elangbam, President of LEEPUL Th Somendro, President of NIPCO K Sunil, President of UNACSU Justice Heisnam, President of AMAWOVA Y Kunjarani, President of EECHAL T Ibemcha, General Secretary of AMMDO Jakir Hussain, President of KREDO Mangte Haopu Kom, General Secretary of WACAK Nongmailembi, General Secretary of CLK Pakpi, Ema Shantibala and General Secretary of WWOK Chingkheinganbi.

Th Somorendro and Justice Heisnam were also elected as co-convenors of the Committee.
