Swachhata Hi Seva campaign wraps up

Imphal, October 02 2024: The Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign organised by the 143 Battalion CRPF as a part of India's ongoing efforts to promote cleanliness & hygiene in the country concluded on Wednesday.

During the campaign which began on September 14, cleanliness drives were conducted at publicplaces, educational institutions, hospitals, Government buildings, commercial, market areas and the campus area of 143 BN CRPF, said a release.

The closing ceremony held at NG College, Imphal was graced by renowned actor & social worker RK Somendo; Y Nandkishor Singh, Second-in-Command, 143 BN CRPF; Shantibala Devi, Vice Principal, NG College and other prominent dignitaries, social workers, students and jawans of the Unit During the event the Swachhata Hi Seva pledge was administered to all the participants.

Tree saplings were also planted under the mission "EK Ped MAA KE NAAM" .
