Month long cleanliness drive concludes

Imphal, October 02 2018: The 6th SDO Lamyanba Irabot Ningshing Loo-Henba Thabum, 2018 which began from September 1 by organising a cleanliness competition concluded yesterday by giving candle light tributes to Lamyanba Irabot on his birth anniversary.

A tree plantation programme and a three day mass social service camp was also held at many areas of Pallel including Pallel Market from September 28 to 30 as part of the month long observance, said a statement issued by general secretary of The Social Development Organisation (SDO), Pallel.

Heibong Makhong Pareng took the top spot in the competition while PHC Mamang and Mill Pareng took 2nd and 3rd spot respectively.

Awang Leikai and Mayai Leikai Makha secured the 4th and 5th spot.

In the best working performance category, Mill Pareng won the 1 st position and Leimangai Chingjil took the 2nd spot followed by Sana Leikai securing the 3rd spot.

The statement also lauded all the participating individuals/Leikais and those who contributed in making the event a grand success.
