MPTC to seek disqualification of MLA Ibohalbi

"Trinamool Congress MLA Dr..IIbohalbi should clarify whether he belongs to the party floated by MLA Th.Shyamkumar or he is still a member of original MPTC", MPTC General Secretary Kh.
Jiken demanded today.
During a press conference held at Manipur Press Club today, MPTC General Secretary Kh.
Jiken said Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress (MPTC) came into existence in Manipur in April 2010 with appointment of Kim Gangte as its president by AITC chief Mamata Banerji.
Saying there is no question of having two factions of Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress, the general secretary pointed out that MLA Shyamkumar floated his own party.
The active members of MPTC, who are associating with Th.Shyamkumar's party, namely S.Manaobi, Pramo, Premananda, Biswanath and Dingo have been served show cause notice to clarify their position, disclosed Jiken while asking Dr.Ibohalbi to clarify his position as well.
If Dr..IIbohalbi is with Shyamkumar's party, he is liable to be disqualified under the 10th Schedule, said MPTC general secretary while adding that the matter will be brought to the notice of Speaker of Legislative Assembly for taking action against the MLA.
