Imphal, July 30 2018: As part of the services catering/rendered to the community regularly, the 1st activity of the Lionistic Year 2018-19 under vision project with the theme 'Sight First' was carried but at CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) Quarter premises at Tulihal Airport yesterday.

A press release issued by Lion Namiba Khaidem, secretary of Lions Club of Imphal Valley stated that the CISF personnel and their family members were screened for refractive errors and eye ailments with the aim to detect any preventable eye diseases and to get corrected for any refractive errors.

About 80 individuals attended the eye camp and the club also distributed medicines worth around Rs 6000 during the camp.

Lion Dr N Romi Singh, president of the club thanked all those who contributed in the activity as well as the CISF authority for ensuring the camp's success.

He further expressed that the club has been able to carry out the project because of the Lion members, well wishers and the community at large.
