JPO decides to accept post mortem reports

CCpur, November 28 2024: The Joint Philanthropic Organisation (JPO), Churachandpur convened a joint meeting Thursday at the office of Hmar Youth Association (HYA) with next to kins of 'volunteers' killed in Jiribam district on November 11 .

The meeting resolved to accept post mortem reports from the authority concerned.

However, the date and time for burial of the bodies will be decided by JPO leaders, who have been dealing with funeral services of all the mortal remains in the present violence.

Meanwhile, the JPO proposed to convene a consultation meeting with all CSOs, Inpis and student leaders at YMA hall, Hmuia Veng, from 11 am Friday to chalk up further course of action.
