Imphal, December 27 2019: The 52nd foundation of Manipur People's Party (MPP) was held at the MPP office complex yesterday.

Manipur People's Party advisor Krishnadas Singh, president Oinam Jugindro Singh, vice president S Brojen Singh and advisor M Amutombi Singh, attended the event as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

The event was kick started by the party president by hoisting the party flag and lighting the ceremonial fire.

Speaking on the occasion, Oinam Jugindro said that MPP was established on December 26, 1986 .

It is one of the oldest regional party in the North East region, maintaind Oinam Jugindro.

The party has ruled Manipur for three terms, he informed adding that the party has done many great deeds for the development of the State.

The Manipur People's Party has also worked tirelessly for the advancement of the State and has also stood for the State in the face of many grave issues, he explained.
