YK College hosts seminar on NEP-2020

Thoubal, December 26 2020: A one-day seminar on National Education Policy-2020 (NEP-2020) was held today at the multipurpose hall of YK College Wangjing.

Over 100 teachers participated in the seminar.

The inaugural function of the seminar was organised by YK College Wangjing, Principal DrvS Giri as chief guest and chairman of the organising committee Dr S Birahari as president.

At the event, Dr S Giri said that teachers have an immense role to play in making the National Education Policy 2020 successful.

He continued that the seminar was organised to discuss the features of the policy so that the same could be implemented successfully in educational institutions.

On the other hand, Dr S> Birahari urged all teachers to make sure the benefits of the NEP 2020 reach the students.

The programme was moderated by the Principal of IRE College of Teachers Education, Wangjing Narengbam Rajivkumar.

Associate Professors of DM College of Teachers Education - Kh Dinesh, Dr W Jyotimor, Dr H Debala and Associate Professor of Adult Continuing Education and Extension (ACEE) Department, Manipur University Dr RK Suresh also attended the programme as resource persons.
