PLA observes 34th Raising Day, The Reflection released

PEOPLE'S LIBERATION Army (PLA), the armed wing of the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF), observed its 34th Raising Day today at different parts of the state along with putting up its stars, flying ballons and organizing cultural programs.
Meanwhile, a journal of the armed outfit, titled The Reflection was released to mark the 34th Raising Day of PLA.
According to a statement issued by its Secretary Publicity T Leishemba, on the occasion of 34th raising day of PLA, RPF President cum Commander in Chief of PLA, Irengbam Chaoren spread awareness on the past mistakes of the society and the reason behind the downfall of Manipur.

He also stated that the ongoing war is not an internal problem of a country but a war between two entities, two countries in which the superior India had forcibly annexed the smaller Manipur under its constitution.
He also appealed to the people of the state to oppose the policy of the India government to rob the natural resources of the state and expressed serious concern over increasing inter community animosity, the statement said.
PLA observed its 34th Raising Day by paying salutes to the party flag at its General HQ, Tactical Command, Strategic Command, Units, Departments and stations.
Cadres of the party also observed the occasion by flying stars and balloons at various areas under its Bureau (1), (2) and (3) .
Cultural programmes were also organized at areas under its Bureau 3 .
The cadres also observed the raising day at their Special Region 1 and 2, the statement informed, while expressing gratitude to the people of the state for their support and co-operation in ensuring the success of the event.
PLA also welcomed the wishes of fellow revolutionary organisations on the occasion, it added.
