The Naga Students Union Chandel (NSUC) has expressed deep concern over the 'pathetic' condition of the District Hospital Chandel today.
The district hospital which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on November 4, 2017, according to a statement of the union, has disappointed the public.
The roofs of the hospital has many leaks which eventually and frequently flooded patient wards.
The toilets and bathrooms are unusable, there are no proper drainage systems.
The walls have cracks in many places and the plasters are coming off, said the union about the quality of the construction of the building.
The hospital also lack proper and adequate equipment, said the union and urged the Government and the authorities concerned to depute an inspection team at the earliest in the interest of the people.
