Imphal, July 23 2020: The 11th death anniversary of Thokchom Rabina and Chungkham Sanjit was observed today.

Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, the anniversary was held simply at the respective homes of the two, who were killed on July 23, 2009 during the infamous BT Road incident, by following SOP for COVID-19, said a statement issued by the publicity secretary of the Working Committee of the Apunba Lup (WCAL), N Rupachandra.

He demanded the Centre and the State Government to remove the Armed Forces Special Power Act 1958 from Manipur and establish Special Court for trial of all alleged fake encounter cases.
