Delhi protest for peace in state today

Imphal, December 22 2024: Several civil society organisations of Manipur and outside will converge at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on Monday with call for peace and mutual coexistence in Manipur.

The gathering cum protest is being jointly organised by Committee for Peaceful Coexistence, Manipur (CPCM), Meetei/Meitei Tribe Union (MMTU), Imagi Meira, Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK), United Meitei Pangal Committee (UMPC), Committee on Relief & Rehabilitation (CRR), Kanglei Panas (KP), Yelhou Phurup (YP), Apunba Awonba Manipur Amagidamak SAAMA), All India Tanzeeme Insaaf (AITI), Struggling Women Association (SWA), All Manipur Meitei Pangal Clubs' Organisation (AMMPACO), Youth Collective Manipur (YCM), Nupi Union for Peace and Integrity (NUPI), Manipur International Youth Centre (MIYC) and Manipur Progressive Students' Association (MPSA).

The protest will be supported by Delhi Meetei Co-ordinating Committee (DMCC), Manipur Students' Association Delhi (MSAD), United Kakching Students, Delhi (UNIKAS), Nin -gol United Progressive Initiative (Nupi), Meitei Heritage Society (MHS), Delhi Meitei Society (DMS), MAYOND and Liklam Ngakpa.
