Kangpokpi, July 22 2020: The Thadou Youth Association, Joint Headquarter Sadar Hills along with Henry Henkholen Haokip, Executive Engineer, Water Resource Department along with his family, felicitated Satmunchon Kipgen, 11th position holder of HSLC examination 2020 .

Satmunchon Kipgen has inspired everyone in Kangpokpi district and becoming popular especially among youths, with his success in the HSLC examination, which he achieved by fighting all odds to follow his dream.

The team felicitated the young brilliant boy at his residence at S Jalenmoul in Kangpokpi District.

Henry Henkholen Haokip, Executive Engineer, Water Resource Department lauded the teenager for giving his best shot despite all the hurdles, setting an example to be an inspiration in the society while proving that no financial crisis and hardship can stop a person from attaining his goal.

The Executive Engineer also appreciated the parents and motivated them to keep supporting the child who has begun pursuing his further studies at Meci Explorer Academy, Imphal, in attaining his dream.

The family members of the Executive Engineer also expressed happiness and motivated the child while the father of Executive Engineer Haokhosei Haokip handed over money as financial help to Satmunchon and his family to help him in his further studies.

Meanwhile, the Thadou Youth Association, Joint Headquarters Sadar Hills, Secretary General, Manghekam Kipgen also appreciated Satmunchon for his overwhelming struggles and success while conveying that the association hope he will become a successful youth among the Thadou community.

He also felicitated him with a Thadou-Kuki Songmantam Dictionary handed over by Henminlen Hangshing, president TYA JHQ-SH.

The Thadou Youth Association, JHQ further expressed their gratitude to Dr Ngamkhohao Haokip, principal cum administrator and all the staffs of Eklavya Model Residential School, Gamnom Sapormeina for their endeavour in producing a topper from a Government school which is the first of its kind from Sadar Hills while terming EMRS Gamnom Saparmeina as a change maker of Sadar Hills education.
