Imphal, February 22 2015: The World Thinking Day-2015 was observed by Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides under the theme "Develop A Global Partnership for Development" at Ch Thamboumacha High School here on Sunday.

The observance was attended by Liberal Father PK Francis as Chief Guest and Chief Commissioner of Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides Th Ibopishak as President.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest PK Francis said that people should think of the whole world as one family, rather being self-centred.

He also appealed to all to have kindness, compassion and dedication, and work collectively for the welfare of the mankind.

Chief Commissioner of Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides Th Ibopishak said that February 22 is observed every year as the World Thinking Day with the main objective of imparting moral and skill development among the youths.

Floral tributes were also paid to the founder of Scouts movement Lord Baden Powell and his wife Olave Baden Powell during the occasion.
