Chiulon heading towards Ethiopia

Imphal, November 21 2019:
Chiulon, which was one of the Amur Falcons tagged with satellite radio transmitter for studying the migratory route, reached Somalia yesterday and has continued its jouney towards Ethiopia, said Wildlife Institute of India.
Meanwhile, Amur Falcon Irang (satellite radio tagged and released along with Chiulon from Tamenglong district) which has been roaming around the released area has finally left Tamenglong.
Irang was flying above Mizoram border as per the signal yesterday, said a source.
It can be recalled that Amur Falcon Chiulon started its journey on November 12.
