Loitam Richard murder : Forensic report to be sent to AIIMS

Imphal, May 21 2012: The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sadananda Gowda has informed the President of BJP, Manipur State Unit, Shantikumar Sharma that the forensic reports of Loitam Richard submitted by the Karnataka State Government would be further sent to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for fresh investigation.

Speaking over the phone to Hueiyen Lanpao, Shantikumar Sharma said that he have separately met the CM Sadananda Gowda and Home Minister R Ashok today.

In his meeting with the Karnataka CM, Shantikumar said, he pressed the former to hand over the case of death of Loitam Richard to the CBI taking into consideration of the sentiments of the people of the NE.

However, the Karnataka CM assured that the case would be handed over to the "Cop of Detective" and justice will be brought.
