Thoubal, July 20 2024: A tree plantation drive was held today at the surrounding areas of Imoinu pond in Khangabok on the occasion of 117th foundation day of Bank of Baroda.

The plantation drive held on the theme Banking For A Greener Planet was jointly organised by the Bank of Baroda branch of Khangabok, Imphal, NIT and MU.

Speaking at the occasion, Nijolata Haobijam, Chief Manager of Bank of Baroda, Imphal Branch said that the plantation drive has been organised with an aim to alleviate the impacts of deforestation and to help in tackling the challenges of climate change.

The drive is also aimed at inculcating the habit of planting trees for a healthier and greener environment.

She also appealed to all to avail the numerous benefits of services provided by the bank across the various branches in the State.
