Meitei Convention Jiribam observes Great June Uprising

Jiribam, June 18 2018: Meitei Convention Jiribam (MCJ) in association with various civil society organisation has observed the Great June 18 Uprising at JIMPAL hall on Monday.

A large number of the people including leaders and members of several organisations attended and paid trubute to the martyrs who have lost their lives in 2001 .

It may be mentioned that on June 18, 2001, people of Manipur agitated in protest against the 'without territorial limit' clause that was included in the Bangkok Declaration as a part of the peace talk between Government of India and NSCN (DM) .
