Imphal, January 17 2021: The Department of Information and Public Relation has clarified that the third paragraph of the news item published on January 16 under the heading "Classes, IX and above to resume from 27th January with strict SOPs : Minister Rajen" should be read as "Shri Rajen explained that the willing students who will attend classes from hostels/boardings are required to be COVID-19 tested prior to their attendance.

Only COVID-19 negative students will be allowed to attend classes.

Consent Certificates from the respective guardians/parents have also to be produced" .

Inconvenience caused in the regard is highly regretted.
