300 more loaded trucks escorted to Imphal

Imphal, January 01 2017:
A total of 300 loaded trucks including oil tankers had left Jiribam for Imphal early today morning under tight security escort.
Among the 300 loaded trucks which left for Imphal, 13 are diesel tanker trucks, 15 are LPG loaded trucks, 2 petrol tanker trucks, 42 rice loaded trucks for FCI, 5 medicine loaded trucks, 122 cement loaded trucks and 100 goods ferrying trucks.
As of now around 1000 loaded trucks inlcuding oil tanker trucks are stranded at Jiribam as the security escrot could not bring them out at one go due to the the problem at Barak Bridge.
