Chandel MLA monitors NFSA application progress

Chandel, January 17 2014 : MLA of 41-Chandel A/C St Nunghlung Victor today went on to inspect the progress of the application form submission for identification of beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act, which is currently underway at SDO Office, Chandel.

The MLA interacted with the village Chiefs, who came to submit the forms and met the SDO Siva Killu Kumar Naidu, IAS.

The MLA also went to the DC Complex and looked over the interview conducted by DIC Chandel for identification of beneficiaries under PMEGP.

There also, he met the officials and advised them to conduct the interview in a free and fair manner.

Talking to media on the sideline of the inspection visit, MLA Victor Nunghlung made it clear that no beneficiary, whether fresh or backlog applicants will be considered for selection unless they face the interview.

Naga Chiefs' Association has thanked the MLA for monitoring the PMEGP interview himself.
