'Bad roads lead to administrative failure in Kasom Khullen'

Imphal, November 14 2013: The President of Northeast Border Area Development Organization (NEBADO) Paisho Keishing has categorically stated that deplorable condition of the roads have led to the failure of administrative machineries in Kasom Khullen Sub-division of Ukhrul district.

Talking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Paisho said that the roads linking Kasom Khullen with other parts of the State have not been repaired for quite a long time despite several requests to the authorities concerned.

Kasom Khullen is located at about 33 kilometres from Yairipok Chandrakhong.

The Kasung Bungtung Road in the sub-division is also just 28-kilometre long.

However, the roads are lying in a pathetic condition causing serious problems to the people, he noted.

The President further appealed to the authorities concerned to develop the roads and restore proper administration in the sub-division.
