Thoubal, December 12 2016: District Legal Service Authority, Thoubal, Okho Trust (Okeshwar-Honeshwar Trust), Langmeidong and Elangbam Tondonbi Singh Memorial Charitable Trust (ETSMCT) Hiyanglam Awang Leikai jointly organised a one-day legal awareness programme at Keirak Community hall under the Manipur State Legal Service Authority today, our correspondent reports.

Keirak GP Pradhan Th Sanaton Singh, Okho Trust executive director Thounaojam Ngouba Singh and Keirak GP Up-Pradhan Md Maniruddin attended the awareness programme as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Resource persons Advocate B Prem Sharma, Advocate Ch Manishwar Singh, Okho Trust executive director Thounajam Ngouba Singh and ETSMCT Hiyanglam Awang Leikai secretary W Amusana spoke on topics like PDS and Food Security Act, crime against women, Domestic Violence Act, legal aid and education and communication etc.
