Imphal, October 12 2015: Manipur State Legal Services Authority on Monday opened a Legal Aid Clinic at Manipur Central Jail, Imphal.

Manipur State Legal Services Authority Executive Chairman and High Court of Manipur Judge, Justice N Kotishwar Singh attended the function as chief guest and Additional Director General of Police (Prisons) Manipur, P Doungel as president and High Court Legal Service Committee Chairman and High Court of Manipur Judge, Justice Kh Nobin Singh and Manipur Central Jail Superintendent Subhas Chandra as the guests of honour.

Justice N Kotishwar said that the legal aid clinic was opened for the benefit of women prisoners and for the welfare of ST, SC and Muslim minorities.
