Kakching, December 11 2019: Members and volunteers of a different organisation operating at Kakching District along with farmers of Kakching Khumal area carried out a cleanliness drive along Kakching Lourel road stretch from Grace Cottage Academy, Kakching to Pallel Leimangai Chingjin on Tuesday which is about 5 km long.

The cleanliness drive was participated by volunteers and members of Kakching Ithei Committee (KIC), All Kakching Students Union (AKSU), Joint Non-Government Voluntary Organisation (JNGVO) Kakching, BJP Kakching Mandal and farmers of Kakching Khumal.

KIC's secretary Yengkhom Joykumar said that the drive is being organised to prevent the occurrence of an accident due to the mud and soil deposited on the said road by machines and vehicles used in agricultural-related activities.

He also thanked the volunteers who joined the cleanliness drive for their support and co-operation.
