AMRDPWA urges Govt to suspend issue of ILPs

Imphal, August 10 2020: The All Manipur Rickshaw Drivers' and Pullers' Welfare Association (AMRDPWA) has drawn the attention of the State Government, urging it to stop the issue of ILP pass, in view of the rise in COVID positive cases in the State.

The statement by the association expressed concern over the entry of outsiders into the State and issue of ILP pass to them during such a time when people of the State are panic stricken.

The State is experiencing local transmission and in this regard, the association has strongly urged the Government to revoke its order to issue ILP pass before the situation spirals out of hand.

The association also appealed everyone to take all necessary precautions and to strictly follow the COVID SOPs.
